Preparing for your Curly / krullen cut

For your dry curly cut, I need to see your curls in their most natural, everyday state. On the day of your appointment (or the night before), wash, condition, and detangle your hair, then apply your usual styling products. Make sure not to use heavy oils, butters, or sticky gels that could weigh your pattern down.

Most importantly, leave the hair ties, clips, headbands, and braids out of the equation. Braid-outs, twist-outs, and ponytail dents stretch out your natural curl pattern, making it difficult for me to see how your curls actually fall.

Just arrive with completely dry, down, and detangled curls so I can "read" the pattern and texture of your hair to get the most out of our time together.

*If this is your first dry curly haircut the formula is simple, we start with a chat about your hair and your hair goals before starting the haircutting. I'll go through section by section blending and shaping, then you'll get a clarifying shampoo and conditioning before I style and dry your hair.
